The mix of plants in this Rain Garden are suited for areas that receive 30% to 70% shade. It is composed of all native floodplain species that can tolerate a wide range of soil moistures. Rain garden soil moistures can vary widely from soaked or submerged during wet periods to very dry in the summer or in drought conditions. These native floodplain species have adapted to these conditions over thousands of years and once established perform superbly in rain gardens. As a bonus, you will be able to enjoy the animals that will be attracted to you garden.
Garden packages are designed to cover approximately 100 square feet and are shipped pre-packaged. Shipments are made early in the week to minimize the chance of spending the weekend in a hot truck or warehouse. Gardens are shipped May through July 1st.
